Finally & exclusively available here, the mini album that brings together some of the great lost songs made famous around the world by the English Post-Punk ModPop godfathers Purple Hearts.

Starting with live favourite and all-time Mod classic 'Watcha Gonna Do about It' from London's Small Faces, a regular set closer on the Hearts revival tour, here in all it's 1965 glory!

Next up is 'Guy Who Made Her A Star' the super rare and obsure Equals B-Side which was transformed into a super rare and equally obscure Purple Hearts B-Side. A slice of UK Garage rock royalty, available here on a podcast for the very first time!

Two tracks are now featured from The Hearts 79 classic Beat That long player, Wilson Picketts 'If You Need Me' & Davy Jones & The Lower Thirds ' Can't Help Thinking About Me'. The pre-Space Oddity Bowie never sounding better. Anyone lucky enough to witness the Hearts shows over the last couple of years have been thrilled by the bands version of GLORIA, here in it's original form by Belfast Gypsies THEM, altogether now G-L-O-R-I-A!

Opening Side 2 of this imaginary 10" is Micky Lee Lane's 'Hey Sho La Ney' as featured on Italian Tony 'Face's 2009 LP with vocals from Mr Robert Manton, followed by not one but 2 great version's of 'Teenage Kicks' first from French lounge punks Nouvelle Vague & secondly the original Undertones version, hard to beat.

The mini-album is bought to close by a couple of 79-80 favs in fresh forms, Back to Zero's 'Your Side Of Heaven', here featured in it's updated studio form from the bands great 'I's All Relative' LP & recorded by Purple Hearts back in 90's (available on the Smashing Time Comp) and finally, who else, but The Purple Hearts themselves from their FAB 2010 live album, PURPLE HEARTS LIVE! with 'Just To Please You', covering their own classic (if you know what I mean?).
